ONEchapel is a new church led by Ross Parsley that began in southwest Austin, Texas in September of 2010.
We are a life giving community united in one hope and purpose...to keep Jesus in the center of everything we say and do. ONEchapel is a movement of Christ followers who are willing to engage our culture with practical humility, spiritual as well as physical healing, and intellectual honesty. We are people who accept others exactly as they are, encouraging one another to be all that God has called us to be, and challenging everyone to share God's transformative work in their lives with others.
Our goal is to fulfill the prayer of Jesus Christ in John 17 where He prayed that His disciples would be one. He prayed for us too.

John 17:20-27 (New Living Translation) 20 "I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message. 21 I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one--as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me. 22 "I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. 23 I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me."
We believe that the Christian life is defined by being united with Jesus in the love of our Heavenly Father. This love causes us to be one with one another and shows the world that we are his disciples and that, in fact, he loves them just as much or more than he loves us.
Alone, we are limited. Together, we grow. As one, we thrive.
