Show the love of Jesus to a hurting child. Join us once a month and help assemble birthday gift bags for kids who wouldn't receive gifts otherwise. The gift bags are donated to local agencies who provide them to parents in need to give to their child. We remain "Secret Givers" so the parents can be the child's hero. Donations of new toys, large gift bags, cake mixes & frosting are always needed. We always need helping hands. Meetings are on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2 PM at NLC, January through November.
Share the joy of giving gifts to kids throughout the year, not just at Christmas! We assemble birthday gift bags and anonymously donate them to bless children in homeless shelters, safe houses or in financial need. Bring your donations of new toys to the once a month meeting & share the fun of creating birthday gift bags! We always need new toys, books, cake mixes, frosting, tissue paper, curly ribbon, gift bags & you! Gift bags are donated to local agencies who then provide them to parents in need. We remain "secret" so that the parents can take credit for providing the gifts. We meet at NLC on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 2 PM in room 141. Check website for any changes in date or location. Parents, you can bring your children with you to the meeting.
Next meeting is Jan.18 2014. Secret Givers is on-going throughout the year and meets every month except December. Bring your donations of new toy for any age child, large gift bags, cake mixes & frosting. We make up the gift bags at the meeting. The birthday bags are then donated to local charities for distribution to children in need. Donations can also be left in our donation basket in the foyer of NLC.
