This is an invitation from the Holy Spirit to go deeper in the most important relationship you will ever have...Your relationship with The Triune God. Over ten years ago, the Lord specifically said to me, "Tricia, you need to get to know Me as intimately as you possibly can!" I started with His Names and I am still going strong! He wasn't just saying this to me!
If you have made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior, then your greatest desire and most important goal in life ought to be to learn as much as you can about him. That will set the tone and foundation for everything else in your life. In fact, the quality of your life is determined by what you know and believe about God.
This class is unique, as it is the result of years of ongoing research I have spent, developing a curriculum that takes a comprehensive look at 23 Hebrew Names of God, arranged into a bible study that will be emailed to you each week during fall and winter semesters. In this scripture-based study, you will learn why God revealed Himself through His Names, and gain a deeper understanding of what these names mean to you. We will study and discuss God as our Creator, the Most High God, Our Master, Our Provider and Supplier, Our Eternal God, Our Healer, Our Banner, The God Who Sees Us, Our Righteousness, Our Sanctification, Our Jealous God, Our Consuming Fire, Our Rock, Our LORD of Hosts, Our Peace, Our LORD God of Recompense, The LORD Who Smites, The LORD is There, Our Father, Our Father of Mercies and Our Shepherd.
We will spend quality time from Genesis to Revelation. You will see the big picture of all of the provisions GOD has made in each one of his names to have a rich, deep and intimate relationship with YOU.
Life is all about knowing and trusting God, and this class will, at a minimum, bring you to a new level of trust and intimacy with God. Whether you are new in the faith or a seasoned bible student, motivated to study or desiring accountability, I guarantee that you will learn more about God and grow closer to Him.
If you are faithful to make the effort, He will meet you where you are and take you to the next level in your walk with Him. Even after having taught this class at New Life for the last 7 years, my passion and enthusiasm grows stronger each year, because I am discovering that the wealth of knowledge to be gained on this amazing subject is vast, limitless, and fascinating, and the opportunities that the Holy Spirit provides for revelation and transformation are life-changing!
You will gain understanding about who you are in Christ with regard to the important concepts that are involved in each one of His names. Studying and meditating on scripture brings revelation and transformation into the image of Christ. Class includes a lecture, discussion, prayer, and we make time for fellowship. We will get to know each other...laugh...cry...and be transparent...which allows the Holy Spirit the freedom to show up and do His work in each one of us! Time commitment for the weekly lessons averages about 20 minutes a day. This study keeps you in the word! Even if you can't complete the entire lesson, you will gain a lot just by coming and connecting with the group.
