As the 3rd-4th Grade Pastor at New Life Church, the Lord has given Jessica Zachman a heart to see young people experience Jesus through scripture. Since she came to New Life in 2008, her passion has been to teach children spiritual principles early, and lay a solid, scriptural foundation in order to equip children’s spiritual growth and development.

Jessica, and her husband John, have served at The Church on the Way in Van Nuys, California for many years. They spent over 10 years in Youth Ministry there in both the Jr. High and High School departments. In addition, Jessica spent many years in the Women’s Ministry and also helped start and form the Young Mother’s Ministry as well as the Young Marrieds Ministry at The Church on the Way. She has also been deeply involved for over a decade in intense, inner-city ministry with W.O.W. International both as a volunteer and as the ministry’s full-time Events Coordinator for the ministry. Jessica has had enormous responsibility as the Executive Secretary in several large corporations in the Los Angeles area including Marcus & Millichap (one of the largest Commercial Real Estate companies in Los Angeles) and for the Southern California Golf Association as their Executive Secretary and Events Manager. She and her husband have been integral in several Church plants within the Foursquare denomination. Her vast experience in business and ministry has given her a heart to see God’s Kingdom advanced and the ministry of the Life of Jesus evangelized with excellence.

Her education includes General Studies at Dixie College in St. George, Utah, as well as Pastoral Ministry at L.I.F.E. Pacific College in San Dimas, CA.

She is the proud mother of three, beautiful daughters who she has been raising full-time over the last 13 years, in addition to her numerous ministerial responsibilities.

Jessica has been blessed with amazing creative and administrative talents and abilities, and has wide breadth of experience in ministry. That, coupled with her desire for people to meet Jesus and see them equipped for life spiritually, has brought her to ministry at New Life Church in Colorado Springs.
