Garvin McCarrell serves as the Senior Executive pastor of New Life Church and leads the Executive Team in overseeing the staff and ministries of the church. Garvin also serves as a New Life Elder. Prior to joining the New Life staff, Pastor Garvin was with Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, TX for 29 years and served on their staff for 23.

As Trinity Fellowship grew from 100 people to 8,500, he served in many leadership positions over the years. Those included: Youth Pastor, Missions/Outreach Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Executive Pastor of Pastoral Care, Pastor of Trinity Fellowship Association of Churches, Life Group Pastor, Oversaw Trinity Fellowship Christian School, and served as an Elder for 22 years.
