He is an acknowledged “bridge-builder,” helping to forge healthy bonds among all segments of the Body of Christ. He is recognized for his balance in preaching the Word, avoiding extremes while not diluting or compromising the demands of truth. Pastor Jack’s heart to bring unity across all denominational and racial boundaries has given him an open door to minister in all kinds of settings. He has authored over 40 books and is the General Editor of the Spirit-Filled Life publications produced by Thomas Nelson Publishers. He has composed over 500 hymns, songs, and choruses, the most noted of which is the classic “Majesty.” Over the 50+ years of his ministry, he has served in youth ministry, pastoral ministry, as president of LIFE Bible College (now Life Pacific College), and now also as the denominational president.

The Hayfords enjoy reading, listening to books on tape (a great car activity!), and attending theater productions.
