Denise Learie
Director of Human Resources
Denise and her husband David moved to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2005 and she has been working at New Life since that time. Her initial assignment was in the accounting department, but with years of corporate accounting and HR experience as well as volunteer church administration, it was a natural fit for her to become the Director of HR.
Denise desires to serve those who serve, and minister to those who minister, to be an instrument in facilitating freedom for the New Life staff to do and be all God has called them here to do and be. She also loves meeting the practical needs of the church staff and their families.
Most of all, Denise is passionate about her family, including 2 children and 8 grandchildren. Several of them are amazing young New Lifers, and some live in Florida. Denise loves visiting there for the beach, and they love coming to Colorado for the snow. She and David enjoy driving into the mountains every chance they get, and relaxing in God’s creation with a good book.
