Jeff and his wife Darien moved to Colorado Springs in 2002. Jeff retired from the US Army in 2004 with 20 years of service and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After the military, Jeff worked as a corporate security manager before being called to New Life in February 2008. Prior to 2008, he volunteered as an usher and as a leader in the security team at New Life.

As the Director of Life Safety, Jeff oversees the New Life Security Team, Medical Team and the Ushers. The Life Safety Ministry touches all activities at New Life as we seek to serve the body of Christ. Jeff feels that Life Safety is a “priestly duty” and that we serve God’s people body, soul, and spirit to create an environment where everyone can worship, fellowship, and draw near to our Lord Jesus without distraction.

Jeff has been married for 29 years and has two children, 27 and 26 years old. He is a graduate of Concordia College in NY and has a degree in Behavioral Science.
